Dr. Vijay Dhankar, after specializing from the Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, joined the health services as a specialist in the field of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. He established the department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at the BSA Hospital and brought it to a level which has won accolades at all forums. A mortuary which has been known as one of the best developed in the state, is being now looked upon as model to replicate.
His managerial skills prompted the Government to entrust him with the responsibility as Project Officer in 2013 to help establish the Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College, New Delhi, a responsibility which he took up as a challenge. From the initial paperwork, permissions and planning of the college along with the Project Director, he has ably brought the college to its present state of readiness.
